Ruth Potts

Cast 1 - Vocalist / Fiddle

Ruth is a Scottish violinist and singer based in Cardiff. She began playing at the age of 3 and went on to train at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. During her training, she was cast in ELO AGAIN and enjoys performing across the UK and internationally with the show. She also performs with and manages the Fleur Quartet, performing at concerts, weddings and events and is a member of the British Paraorchestra, performing in concerts and in documentaries in collaboration with Sky Arts. Ruth also performs as a solo artist as well as in groups and consistently receives five star reviews from clients. She has performed extensively at many venues with highlights including the Royal Albert Hall (BBC Proms), St David's Hall, Usher Hall, Southbank Centre, Cadogan Hall, Shanghai Grand Theatre and Moscow Garage.

Ruth is so excited to be joining the cast and crew of Fairytale of New York, and would like to thank her family, friends and colleagues for their ongoing support.
